Services include: administration of injectable therapies (intramuscular and subcutaneous) and infusions (drips), monitoring of vital signs, blood sampling, removal of sutures, management of bladder catheters and assistance to the centre’s specialist physicians, at our Perugia and Città della Pieve locations.

Yes. For all services involving the administration of medication (intramuscular or subcutaneous injections or intravenous infusions) you must present a prescription from your doctor or specialist. The staff check the prescribed dosage, prepare the medication and monitor vital signs throughout the treatment.

Yes. The clinic supports patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension or cardiovascular disease, working alongside the centre’s physicians and caregivers. It carries out periodic monitoring of blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation and blood glucose, and provides health education on the correct home management of devices and therapy.

A simple dressing is used for clean, superficial linear wounds, such as minor cuts or surgical wounds healing normally, and involves disinfection and protection with sterile gauze or plasters. An advanced dressing uses biocompatible materials (hydrocolloids, alginates, polyurethane foams, hydrogels) for complex or chronic lesions, such as pressure sores or ulcers, maintaining the moisture and temperature ideal for tissue regeneration.

Removal of sutures or surgical staples is carried out on the instructions of the surgeon, generally between 7 and 14 days after the operation, depending on the area of the body and the type of healing. At the clinic, removal is preceded by an assessment of the wound, to rule out signs of infection or dehiscence, with the possible application of a protective dressing or adhesive support strips.
